We have been focusing on recognising synonyms this week in literacy. Today we were on a “synonym roll” with our fabulous synonym pairs. The pupils thought of synonyms (words that have similar meanings) to write under the “synonym buns.” They then played a synonym matching game on our interactive whiteboard.
