Today we were delighted to welcome back Iain from Sustrans NI. He came to provide a free health check to the bikes for all our pupils ahead of ‘Cycle to School Week’ next week. The children enjoyed a whole school assembly followed by some workshops exploring how to look after their bikes and used the ABCD rule to help remember- air, brakes, chain and direction.
Thanks to Iain aka Dr Bike we are already looking forward to future workshops this year as our school moves towards a sustainable travel award.
