Today we have been developing our understanding of shape and measure. Each table had a different activity and learning intention so we worked our way round each of them.
1. We created our own shape characters and calculated their composite area using formulas.
2. We measured and labelled the sides of 3D shapes and calculated their volume by using formula - volume=lxbxh
3. We revised our understanding of symmetry and reflecting patterns and designs using a mirror line. We used Lego to make our patterns and checked them with a mirror when we were done.
