This year’s theme for science week was ‘change’. We were investigating how states of matter can change by heating/melting and also how colours change when liquid is added. We looked at diffusion when water is added to skittles and how cornflour and water react when different pressures are applied. It was so interesting to make predictions and then complete the experiments. We also then thought about what would happen if different variables were used ie warm water instead of cold etc. Well done boys and girls, we definitely have some scientists in the making in St Malachy’s ❤️💚🧪
