This week we have been learning the long a sound in phonics. Each week we complete a range of practical and engaging activities to help us explore spelling patterns and rules which in turn help us to learn our spellings.
In numeracy we have been learning/revising written methods for addition and subtraction. We used practical activities and games to help reinforce understanding. The boys and girls loved the opportunity to be the teacher and complete questions on the board explaining their methods to the class.
