This term P6/7 have been exploring poetry and have been learning all about poetic features, structures, narrative, and language. The boys and girls are able to analyse a range of poems and identify techniques used. Today they have been investigating how imagery is created through the use of metaphors and personification in a poem called 'The Harvest Moon'. They were all engaged in their learning and we had some great interpretations and explanations shared. Over the next week or two we will be writing/performing our own poetry.
