This week we have started our new Writing Genre for this term and have been looking at arguments, persuasive and discussion texts.
Today we used our detective skills to explore how punctuation is used in Newspapers and were looking out for the use of colons and semi-colons. We are becoming more confident in using these in our own writing and will be applying our knowledge and understanding when we write our own speeches and persuasive texts throughout the term.
