Primary 1/2 as part of their Minibeasts topic and P3/4/5 as part of their topic on Life cycles had some very exciting visitors in school today. Some fluffy, some scaly, some prickly and some wriggly creatures including a bearded dragon, a pigmy hedgehog, a millipede, a chinchilla, 2 royal pythons and a tortoise. The children were all so excited to get touching, holding and feeding the different creatures. David from ‘Party animals’ Newtownards was so patient answering all their questions and telling them facts about each of the animals. The boys and girls were so brave and gentle with the animals. A super hands on experience to aid our learning in our topics this term.
