We all had a lovely sweet treat today as Ms Savage and Mrs L McMullan helped us bake some yummy, fluffy pancakes. The boys and girls had the opportunity to prepare the ingredients and complete some sequential and procedural writing. Ms Savage brought her griddle which helped to create the perfect pancakes which went down a treat with all! The children then choose their toppings some of which included Maple syrup, marshmallows, sprinkles, lemon and sugar. The only problem was, everyone wanted more!
This afternoon we listened to stories about Jesus’ time in the desert and about the sacrifices he made. We are all prepared to receive our ashes tomorrow from Fr John and have been thinking about our Lenten promises.
