The pupils in P/2 have been working very hard to learn their first 6 Jolly Phonics sounds. This week we have been focusing on blending those sounds to make words. The boys and girls have enjoyed a variety of activities to help them blend the sounds. They decoded/read the ghost words and wrote them in the sand. They took part in dictation and wrote the words they heard onto individual whiteboards. The pupils also practiced blending sounds and reading words on the interactive whiteboard. They also enjoyed writing on their desks to practice writing sequences to help improve pencil control. Well done pupils, we are all super impressed!
