Today we have had a fun filled number day in school. Mr Clifford took a special assembly this morning and then each class participated in a range of number themed activities to celebrate both NSPCC number day and 100 days of school. The boys and girls had lots of fantastic learning opportunities and were engaged in their learning both inside and outside of the classroom.
P1/2 were in the eco garden planting 100 seeds and making 100 using different resources including their bodies!
P3/4/5 read stories about 100 days in school and completed lots of different scenarios using the number 100 and completed tasks in 100 seconds
P6/7 predicted how many different tasks they could complete in 100 seconds and then completed the tasks to see if their predictions were correct. They were able to recite 3 sets of times tables, complete over 100 star jumps and lots more. A great day of cross curricular learning.
