This week we have celebrated National story telling week. The children have enjoyed participating in many fun activities related to the joy of story telling at home and throughout the week. They have been reading with different class teachers, reading with their reading buddies, discussing favourite books and novels, writing stories of their own. At home they have been busy making potatoes characters and posters from their favourite books and taking photos of themselves reading stories in different and unusual places. Each key stage also were involved online via zoom with different authors through the Literacy trust. Primary 3-7 have also been continuing with their story telling through Yoga, which has been a great success. Well done boys and girls. Next week we will have our whole school Story telling assembly and results of our competitions and a visit from a famous children’s author.📖📚📖📚📖📚
