The foundation stage pupils went for a walk around the school grounds to look for mini-beasts. We enjoyed getting a detailed view of our findings by collecting them in breathable jars and using magnifying glasses. It was difficult to find a variety of mini-beasts because it was quite a frosty morning and some of them were still sleeping. However, we did manage to find a spider, woodlouse, worm, ladybird and slugs. Don’t worry we released them back into their natural habitats when we were finished.
