Primary 3/4/5’s world around us topic this term is mighty me; all about ourselves and our environment! We had a busy day today reinforcing our number bonds to 20, and expanding our memory. In the afternoon we went outside for a sensory hunt. We are currently exploring the 5 senses. We had to hunt for natural items that were smooth, rough, shiny and spiky. We then sat on the grass, and listened for sounds in our school environment. We heard birds, the wind rustling in the trees and even a helicopter. We are having so much fun investigating our new topic!
