The pupils enjoyed participating in various activities to practice making 5. They explored the numicon shapes to find the numbers that together make 5. They played a game on the interactive whiteboard to practice number bonds within 5. We also used the Lego to create our own pictographs. The pupils worked in groups and chose what they wanted to compare and find out. They then worked together to read the information presented. As you can see carrots, Moana and salt and vinegar are popular in P1/2.
