This week P6/7 have been looking at figurative and literal language. We played some games and role play in acting out some idioms before making our own posters showing lots of different idioms and their literal meanings. We realised these are part of our language which we use a lot but we never realised they had a special name. We were able to show understanding of their meaning and use them in context. A great lesson boys and girls!
