P1/2 have been learning all about capacity. We had lots of fun measuring capacity with different sized bottles and jugs. We learnt some new vocabulary to discuss the capacity of something e.g., full, half full, empty, almost empty. We loved our purple water and are looking forward to exploring all the various ways we can measure capacity. The boys and girls also had a go of finding 2 things in our classroom that had different capacities. We then had a go at predicting which of the items had the bigger capacity.
