This week the children in KS2 participated in an online workshop with Museum on the Mound in Edinburgh to develop their knowledge and understanding of money. They looked at how money has changed over time and looked at the first materials and items used as currency. The children were so engaged in the workshop and really enjoyed learning about the history of money before moving on to the ‘Money Matters’ session where they explored the importance of saving and spending carefully, developing life skills. They finished the session by designing their own badges to promote savings and looking after their money. Well done boys and girls. 😀
