This week in Primary 3/4/5 we have been very industrious and creative in our learning. As part of our topic on Mighty Me we created Edvard Munch inspired pictures of ourselves using oil pastels and self portrait images. As part of of our Literacy we have been investigating vowels and consonants, adverbs, paragraphs and features of non fiction texts. The children have been photographing different features found in non fiction books we found in the class library and using PicCollage to record. In Numeracy, we have a new interactive 100 square on display in the classroom. Children were busy arranging all the numbers in order, problem solving when numbers went missing and creating patterns and number stories with chosen numbers.
