GAA coaching with Ulster GAA
Today we had our final session with Cleona from Ulster GAA. Our boys and girls have been so lucky to receive these coaching sessions each week and have had the opportunity to develop fundamental skills through a range of activities, sports and games. They have developed team work, listening skills, gaelic/Hurley/camogie skills and overall had lots of fun whilst staying fit and healthy.
We are so lucky to have the facilities at school to have full matches on our wonderful GAA pitch and the children just loved the opportunity to get their football boots on. They were not afraid of the muddy conditions on occasion and we can already see some talented footballers, hurlers, camogs and runners emerging! Well done boys and girls! Keep up the tremendous efforts and dedication. We are already looking forward to Cleona’s return next year!
