Back in February, the children entered an art competition organised by Glebe House. All the children had to draw, paint or create a piece of artwork based on the theme Our Wonderful World. There were many many great prizes to be won for the different age group categories.
Toby in P3 was a successful winner in St Malachy’s and received a Eurekaseekers party which he agreed to have with his classmates in school.
We were lucky to have Chris from Eurekaseekers in this morning to do a 2 part workshop with Toby’s class. They made colour changing slime and Elephant toothpaste. This was a fantastic workshop led by Chris and the children all thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. They got to take home the slime they made and wrote up the procedure as part of their writing focus this term. Well done boys and girls and Thanks agin to Toby for winning and Chris for delivering the workshop.
