Today Primary 3,4 and 5 were involved in a fantastic zoom video call lesson with Janette Lunn from the Ulster Museum in Belfast. As part of our World around us topic we have been learning about life in Ancient Egypt. Today Janette was able to talk us through some of the artefacts and replicas of Ancient Egyptian canonic jars, jewellery, tools, dishes, papyrus paper and scented butter that the Egyptians would have used in mummification. They children really enjoyed asking Janette the expert questions, handling each of the pieces first hand and learning more interesting facts about the Egyptians.
