As part of National Coding Week, children in school have been taking part in various coding activities. Primary 3/4/5 and Primary 6/7 took part in separate coding workshops with Nerve Centre, Belfast via Zoom. These workshops were are an opportunity to get creative and have some fun, all whilst learning key coding skills! Primary 6/7 learned how to create their very own Space Invaders style game within Scratch Jr. Whilst P3/4/5 learned all about our Solar System through the creation of their very own digital story, also using the coding platform Scratch Jr. All children thoroughly enjoyed the workshops, and especially enjoyed collaborating and problem solving together. Very well done boys and girls!
