Child Protection

Safeguarding & Child Protection - nothing's more important

Keeping children safe is our top priority and first duty of care at St Malachy’s PS. We want children to be safe, feel safe, be happy, confident and know how to get help when they need it.

Each member of staff is totally committed to Safeguarding of each pupil in our school. By following child protection procedures, we strive to ensure that the emotional, social and educational welfare of every child is at the forefront of everything we do in St Malachy's.

In addition, the school curriculum raises the children's awareness about themselves. We create a trusting climate at our school so that the children feel able to talk and share their thoughts and feelings.
